Will I be charged during my 7-day trial?
You won’t be charged anything during your 7-day trial. Your first payment of $38/month for the Studio Membership doesn’t begin until day 8. Cancel anytime before then and you won’t be charged anything.
You’ll also receive a reminder email the day before your trial ends.
Do I need to enter a credit card to start my trial?
A credit card is required to start your 7-day trial. However, you won’t be charged anything until day 8. Cancel anytime before then, and your card will never be billed.
All payment information and transactions are encrypted and processed through a trusted payment platform.
What tools or software do I need?
Most classes are taught using an iPad with Procreate or Affinity Designer. Beyond the tool-specific classes, there is content that applies to all artists regardless of medium or tools, including desktop users and traditional artists. If you’re new to digital art tools, The Studio includes beginner resources for both Procreate and Affinity Designer so you can learn as you go.
What if I'm a total beginner or don't think I'm creative enough?
Whether you’re brand new to art or just new to digital tools, The Studio has you covered. Members have access to a large library of beginner-friendly classes for Procreate and Affinity Designer to help take you from fear to flourishing.
How is this different from Skillshare or YouTube?
While you may find some of Liz’s content on YouTube and Skillshare, the vast majority of tools and skills related to selling your art are shared inside The Studio. You’ll find a lot of the theory over on YouTube, but the actual steps and resources you need to make it happen are all in the membership.
Plus, Liz is present in The Studio in a way that simply isn’t possible on other platforms. If you want to unlock selling your art regularly, The Studio is where you want to be.
What classes and resources are included?
The Studio includes a growing library of 50+ classes, 500+ resources, live monthly drawing sessions and critiques, Studio Chats, and a monthly trend report, all exclusive to Studio members.

How are class topics chosen?
Class topics are chosen based on trending art and design topics and what members are actively talking about and requesting. Member questions, feedback, and polls in the community help shape what Liz creates next. When you join, you’ll have the chance to share what you’re most interested in and help shape what Liz creates next.
What will the Live Drawing Sessions and Critiques be like?
In the Live Drawing Sessions, Liz brings a project idea that you draw together. A few days in advance, downloads and resources are sent to help you start brainstorming. You can follow along as closely or loosely as you’d like, ask questions, show your work in progress, and sip on your favorite drink! Liz draws in Procreate, but you can use any app or traditional media you like.
In the Live Critique, you can submit your work and questions for Liz to respond to live. You can share artwork, shops, or social media profiles for feedback on style, marketing, or strategy. There is no submission limit, so you can submit anytime you have new work or questions to share.
What if I can't attend the live sessions?
All live sessions including the Live Drawing Session and Live Critique are recorded. All Studio members will be able to access the replay in their Studio Library by the following day.
How much direct contact will I have with Liz?
During the live sessions, Liz leads the session and answers questions in real time.
In the Studio Community, Liz is present so members can always get her eyes on their work or questions.
Through Studio Chats, members can apply for a recorded conversation with Liz on whatever topic they need help with.
How will I watch the videos (what devices can I use and where do I get the classes?)
Studio Members can watch the classes and get the resources on any device, either through a web browser or The Studio App.
The Studio App is available for download on iOS devices. Access all your classes, resources, and the community from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad (and even offline viewing). Download The Studio by Liz Kohler Brown App.
The membership platform will keep track of what you have watched, and you can build customizable playlists to keep track of what you want to watch next.
What happens if I want to cancel during my trial?
As long as you cancel during your 7-day trial, you won’t be charged anything. No pressure, no strings attached, just 7 days to see if it’s right for you.
If you continue with The Studio Membership and ever decide it isn’t right for you, you can cancel any future payments through your account settings, no questions asked. Just an easy “Cancel Membership” button. And if you feel like the membership is missing something, reach out and let us know. We’re always looking to make The Studio better for our members.
What if I start my paid membership and it isn't the right fit?
We stand behind The Studio Membership with our Good Fit Guarantee. If you start your paid membership and feel it isn’t the right fit, reach out within two weeks, and we’ll refund your payment. No questions asked. Email us at help@lizkohlerbrown.com to request a refund.
What happens after my 7-day trial ends?
Your first monthly payment for the Studio Membership will be charged on day 8 of your trial. From that point, your Studio Membership renews monthly on the same date each month.
